My SEVA (selfless service) work is mostly done through my work as an ambassador for the Non-profit organization; Yoga Gives Back.
I first became aware of YGB in 2014 when I immediately felt the call to support this grass roots organization because of my strong connection to Mother India, the country that gave birth to Yoga, the practice I am deeply devoted to.
I started supporting YGB by attending their annual fundraisers as well as several smaller events as an attendee.
In 2015 I became a certified Yoga teacher and began to teach public Yoga classes in LA and a few years later I became an ambassador for YGB.
In the meantime, I’ve been to India three times and have travelled extensively throughout the country.
Meeting the beautiful people of India, a country rich in tradition and spirituality yet with many people living in extreme poverty has changed my life forever..
It is my sincere hope that by donating some of my time and resources I’m able to create more awareness for this amazing organization that gives back to Mother India, the country that gave us the eternal gift of Yoga.
Our organization supports three local NGO’s with your financial support.

Never before in my life have I met so many happy, polite children in such a loving community as in India, despite the incredible harsh circumstances and challenges many of the people are faced with in their daily life.
I was astounded to learn how much a little money can truly change the life of many extremely impoverished families and orphans, changing the lives of children whose parents have nothing… our money can provide them with higher education and micro loans for women so they can start their own sustainable businesses.

We met many of those children and women and saw with our own eyes the pride and happiness resulting from their improved circumstances.
Together as a team we witnessed first-hand the profound change your donations have made in those lives.
